Newcastle manager Steve McClaren told "Sky Sports" that defender Steven Taylor had surgery to repair an injured hamstring and will miss at least the next two months: "He had a scan on his hamstring. He's had a small operation to repair the damage and unfortunately it looks like he'll be out for a couple of months."
