Premier League Arnautovic close to injury return

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes confirmed winger Marko Arnautovic missed the weekend match with an ankle injury, but is hoping to return Wednesday to face Manchester City: “Marko is feeling better, which is a positive for us. Obviously he wasn’t able to travel and play on Sunday. He has been struggling a little bit with his ankle, and felt it on training at the end of last week. It is stemming from a tackle he received from Gareth Barry on Boxing Day. He has been feeling it since really, but he has strapped it up and played through it. Unfortunately he went over on it in training last week. We are hoping he is available on Wednesday, but if not then he should be fine for the game against Blackburn at the weekend.”
