Premier League Vertonghen to miss six weeks

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino told the club website that defender Jan Vertonghen is expected to miss six weeks with an ankle injury after ligament damage was deemed less profound: "Jan is ok, he's very positive. We're pushing him a lot. We expect six weeks, less than at first. We don't want to set the time limit. When your mind is positive it's easier to recover."
